Fresh Summer Truffle

Grown in Australia and available during our warmer months, this Truffle is a different species to the Winter Truffle (Melanosporum or Perigord). 

This type of Truffle is more hardy, lighter in colour on the inside, usually has a thicker skin and is more delicate in flavour. The Australian Summer Truffle has a hazelnut like aroma and flavour and is only grown on the East Coast of Australia mainly in Tasmania and more recently in Victoria and NSW.  It is best used as soon as possible and within 7 days of ordering so please order accordingly. 

Prices may vary during the season due to hunters finds. 

Suggested serving size approx 10gm per person.
